Emma Murphy is an NYC-based performer and recent grad of NYU Steinhardt, where she studied Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre. She is bright, compassionate, youthful, and energetic. She has a versatile and unique voice, including a high belt, pop/rock sound, and a wide range of repertoire. Recent credits include Jo March (Little Women) and Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar).

She is currently working at Hong Kong Disneyland as a Lead Vocalist in Mickey and the Wondrous Book. She loves to create art, meet new people, and learn new things. Sound like fun? She'd love to connect!

Hello again New York!!! I missed you!!!!!!!

In the past 6 months I have:

- made the decision to take a gap year and join the class of 2025
- gotten bangs
- made a TON of masks to go with each outfit
- socially distanced
- started a full time job
- gotten 2 cats
- turned 18

After over 6 months of traveling 9,148 miles around the country, 34 auditions for musical theatre programs, and quite possibly the hardest choice of my life, I’ve finally made a decision!
In the fall of 2020, I will be attending New York University Steinhardt to major in Vocal Performance with a concentration in Musical Theatre. A huge thank you to my family, Matt Wolfe, all of my other teachers, and @collegeauditioncoach
